Motion Commander Foundation (MCF)

MCF is a .NET application framework that provides extensive and proven infrastructure for machine control applications: robust communications, data management, plotting, alarms, message logging, user login, internationalization, MTConnect, and much more. MCF-based apps are developed in MS Visual Studio (C# or VB). Project templates and code-generation tools are available, but the developer is responsible for creating the operator interface in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or WinForms.

Host PC applications based on MCF have been running industrial machinery all over the world since 2013. MCF apps controlled the extrusion of the world’s first 3D printed automobile at IMTS 2014 and have earned GE’s prestigious “Brilliant Factory” award for manufacturing excellence. MCF apps shape jet engine turbine blades, mill dental implants, wind springs, polish stainless sinks, cut boat hulls and grind nuclear fuel containment seals.

BuilderHMI

BuilderHMI is a MCF-based machine control application that features easy and intuitive drag-and-drop WPF screen design! BuilderHMI operator interfaces can be run directly by the app (No-code option). BuilderHMI can also generate and export complete WPF projects with full C# source code for customization in MS Visual Studio (Low-code option).

A new generation of “Builder-enabled” apps will add unprecedented customizability to MCF’s proven reliability! Machine builders will be able to deliver front-end software that their customers can easily modify to add specific functionality for their applications.
